The 2025 International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA 2025) will be held in Berlin, Germany on September 5th. Industry insiders close to Hisense revealed that the company will exhibit the world's first mass-produced RGB-Mini LED TV. At IFA 2025, Hisense, Samsung, and Sony will gather together, making RGB-Mini LED a focal point of display technology competition among Chinese, Japanese, and Korean companies.
In January of this year, Hisense unveiled its RGB three-dimensional color-control LCD display technology at CES and pioneered the launch of its 116-inch RGB-Mini LED UX TV, becoming the first mass-produced model in this field. Subsequently, global TV industry giants such as Samsung and Sony have entered the RGB-Mini LED market. Industry insiders point out that the collective investment of global TV industry giants in RGB-Mini LED indicates that a global alliance for this new display technology has taken shape.
It's reported that Hisense's RGB-Mini LED utilizes independent backlight sources for the three primary colors of red, green, and blue, breaking the industry's long-standing limitation to traditional display models with "single light control." This breakthrough upgrade from "light control" to "simultaneous light and color control" is the first of its kind. Furthermore, Hisense's RGB-Mini LED is equipped with its in-house developed Xinxin AI image quality chip, the H7, which enables 108-bit precise light and color control and 15,680-point high-precision color control, enabling RGB-Mini LED to achieve 97% of the BT.2020 ultra-high color gamut. Notably, RGB-Mini LED also boasts ultra-high brightness, ultra-wide viewing angles, and ultra-low energy consumption.
Some analysts believe that Hisense's breakthrough in the RGB-Mini LED field will have a profound impact on the future of the global high-end TV landscape.
