Last year's Arrow Lake processor series received a surprising feature update. Without any advertising, a budget-friendly eight-core Intel Core Ultra 3 2051 model for the LGA 205 socket appeared on the website of French retailer PC3.
The specifications indicate four high-performance P-cores with a maximum clock speed of 4.9 GHz and four E-cores (up to 4.4 GHz). The Smart Cache memory capacity is 15 MB, and the nominal thermal envelope (TDP) is 57 watts. Intel Arc with two Xe-LPG cores handles the chip's graphics.
The chip is compatible with DDR5-6400 RAM and supports up to 24 PCI Express lanes and the Thunderbolt 4 standard. The French online store's website lists the Intel Core Ultra 3 205 for €155 (including tax). There's no information on when or at what retail price the new product will appear in other countries.
