On September 24th, a digital blogger released an image of the exterior and specifications of Samsung's new flagship S26 series phones. The Samsung S26 Edge features a horizontally rectangular design and measures just 5.5mm at its thinnest point. This design may be intended to rival Apple's recently released iPhone Air.
The image shows that the Samsung S26 Edge measures 158.4×75.7×5.5mm and features a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 mobile platform and offers up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. For imaging, the new phone features a 200MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For battery life, it packs a 4300mAh battery and supports Qi2 wireless magnetic charging.
The Samsung S26 Pro is a compact, all-around flagship. It's 6.7mm thick and features a 6.27-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The imaging system consists of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. The battery capacity is 4300mAh and supports 45W wired fast charging and the latest QI2 wireless magnetic charging. In terms of performance, the phone is equipped with either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 mobile platform or the in-house Exynos 2600 processor.
The top-of-the-line flagship in the series, the Samsung S26 Ultra, is positioned as an all-round imaging flagship. Its dimensions are 163.4×77.9×7.8mm, and its bezels are more rounded than those of the previous generation. It features a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with a depolarizing layer and third-generation anti-reflective glass, significantly improving outdoor visibility in bright sunlight. The phone's imaging system is luxurious, including a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. In terms of battery life, the new phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 66W wired fast charging and Qi2 wireless charging.
