Xiaomi's official Weibo account officially announced that the entire Xiaomi 17 series is equipped with the new M10 screen illumination technology. This technology utilizes a new domestically produced red luminous material, achieving a world-leading luminous efficiency of 82.1 cd/A.
According to leaked information, the Xiaomi 17 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch 1.5K resolution screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate; the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is expected to be upgraded to a 6.85-inch 2K flat screen with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. For eye protection, the Xiaomi 17 may utilize hybrid dimming technology, enabling stable flicker control in low light conditions.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max debut the "Magic Back Screen" design. This secondary screen, which covers the entire rear camera module, utilizes an embedded process, seamlessly integrating a customized AMOLED secondary screen into the rear camera area. This back screen supports a variety of practical functions, such as notification display, time check, camera viewfinder, multitasking, and AI interaction. The Xiaomi 17, on the other hand, continues the design of its predecessor, with a rectangular camera in the upper left corner, and lacks a secondary screen.
In terms of performance, the entire Xiaomi 17 series will be equipped with Qualcomm's fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform. Regarding battery life, the Xiaomi 17 is expected to have a built-in 7000mAh large-capacity battery and support 100W fast charging technology; the Xiaomi 17 Pro may have a built-in 6300mAh battery and support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
