Newly leaked spy photos offer a glimpse at the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, revealing the differences in appearance between the Galaxy S26 Plus, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. Particularly striking is the significant change in the camera design.
New Camera Construction Concept
The images in question have now surfaced on Sammy Guru. According to the leak, the Galaxy S26 Plus features a triple-camera setup housed in a pill-shaped notch, flanked only by an LED flash.
It's unclear whether this design is a dual-layer structure or based on the housing design of the Ultra model. The Galaxy S26 Edge, on the other hand, adopts a completely new design concept: two cameras are integrated into a wide rectangular module, occupying nearly a third of the back.
Does the Galaxy S26 Ultra also have a new solution?
The Galaxy S26 Ultra's solution appears to be more complex: three cameras protrude from the pill-shaped module, with the fourth lens, flash, and laser autofocus each housed on its own protruding section. Furthermore, the housing appears to be more rounded than its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
However, the Ultra model's lack of a notch for the periscope telephoto lens has sparked controversy. Even the front-facing photos have drawn skepticism—the background suggests Samsung is unlikely to have manufactured them in-house. Sammy Guru has posted nearly two dozen images of S26 cases from an unnamed accessory manufacturer.
It's unclear whether these cases are based on official CAD files or merely supply chain estimates. However, support for magnetic charging accessories does sound quite realistic, hinted at on all three models.
