OPPO officially announced the release of ColorOS 16 on October 15th. OnePlus subsequently announced that its new flagship phone, the OnePlus 15, will be the first to feature the system.
CNMO has learned that ColorOS 16's software icons will feature a "light field" design and support mirroring the phone's screen directly onto a Mac, allowing up to five windows to be opened. Furthermore, ColorOS Design Director Chen Xi stated that ColorOS 16 will be a quantum leap forward, both in terms of the number of new features developed and the detailed improvements to the user experience. In terms of AI, the exclusive innovative product "Xiaobu Memory" has also achieved new breakthroughs. In addition to significantly improving memory capabilities, "One-click Flash Memo" will also feature surprising innovative applications, truly enabling users to take notes and use them.
According to CNMO, the OnePlus 15 is powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform. In Geekbench testing, it achieved a single-core score of 3709 and a multi-core score of 11000, representing a 25% performance improvement over the OnePlus 13, which uses the previous-generation chip. In terms of design, recently leaked images of the device reveal that the imaging module features a rounded-corner matrix design similar to the OnePlus 13T. Previous reports indicate that the midframe utilizes a ceramic coating, achieving a hardness four times that of titanium.
As for imaging, the OnePlus 15 will feature a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup and the LUMO condensing light imaging system. Regarding the display, OnePlus will equip it with a 1.5K resolution BOE display supporting a 165Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the OnePlus 15 is expected to be equipped with a large 7000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring excellent battery life.
