Recently, a digital blogger revealed that celebrity Zhang Ruonan appeared at an event holding the Realme GT8 Pro. The device's specific specifications were also revealed. Images indicate the Realme GT8 Pro features a new circular camera module design, housing a triple-camera setup (possibly a main camera, ultra-wide-angle lens, and periscope telephoto lens).
The leak reveals that the Realme GT8 Pro is powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform, boasting an AI computing power exceeding 100TOPS and supporting large local model execution. For imaging, it utilizes a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens, supporting 120x hybrid zoom. The main camera uses a 50-megapixel sensor from Sony's IMX989. The wide-angle lens is also 50 megapixels and uses a Samsung JN5 sensor.
The phone may feature a 6.78-inch 2K flat screen from Samsung or BOE, with a peak brightness of 4500 nits, supporting a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM or DC dimming, and a second-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The battery is expected to be over 7000 mAh and support 120W wired fast charging. Furthermore, the phone is expected to support IP68/69 full waterproofing, be equipped with 1115E + 1115E dual-master speakers, and a large 1016-level X-axis linear motor.
The phone will feature a metal frame with AG glass or a plain leather back cover. It may be a collaboration with Ricoh, introducing the classic "negative color" filter and a humanistic photography style.
Pre-orders for the phone began on major e-commerce platforms on September 22nd, and it will be released in early October.
