With the release of Samsung One UI 8 for Galaxy phones sold in China, the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy S25 series now feature the long-awaited Photo Watermark Frame feature. This allows users to capture stunning scenery or unforgettable moments and save them or share them with friends in a more beautiful way. This updated Photo Watermark Frame is currently only available for Galaxy phones sold in China, making it a pre-order update exclusively for the Chinese market. More Galaxy models sold in China will also support this feature with the Samsung One UI 8 update.
After the update, users can enable the Camera Watermark feature in the camera. Compared to the previous text watermark, the updated Watermark Frame is more elegant, available in two styles: black and white, and in both horizontal and vertical formats.
The updated Watermark Frame uses a more refined font to display relevant photo parameters, such as phone model, ISO sensitivity, focal length, exposure value (EV), aperture, and shutter speed. After taking a photo, the frame will automatically be superimposed on the photo and saved to the album.
Notably, the updated photo watermark frame covers commonly used shooting modes, including the default "Photo" mode, as well as "Portrait," "Professional," "Night," and "Food" modes. Whether taking portraits, landscapes, or food shots during the day or at night, users can add a photo watermark frame and share it with friends or on social media anytime, anywhere.
