Xiaomi released an official teaser, announcing the release date for its new flagship smartphone and its Pro version. Official images also revealed some color options for the upcoming models.
The Xiaomi Mi 17, Mi 17 Pro, and Mi 17 Pro Max will be released on September 25, 2025. A notable feature of the two Pro models is a secondary display on the back, near the camera module. These new devices are expected to be among the first mass-produced smartphones powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
The teaser did not reveal any technical specifications. Rumors suggest the Xiaomi Mi 17 and Mi 17 Pro will feature 6.3-inch narrow-bezel OLED displays. The Pro Max version is expected to have a 6.8-inch screen and a whopping 7,500 mAh battery.
The manufacturer has not yet announced pricing for the new products.
