The upcoming vivo X300 series flagship smartphones are expected to rival the new iPhone 17 not only in terms of hardware, but also with unique features that will make them even more competitive. One key feature is a tool that supports fast file transfers between Android smartphones and Apple devices.
According to company representatives, the X300 Pro and X300 Compact will be powered by Android 16 with the proprietary OriginOS 6 operating system. This new feature will allow direct file sharing between vivo smartphones and Apple devices (from iPads to Macs) without the need for cables or public Wi-Fi networks. Both parties simply need to log in to their vivo accounts.
This new feature will also appear on other models, including the upcoming iQOO 15. Previously released devices are likely to gain this feature as well. Incidentally, the foldable vivo X Fold5 natively supports AirPods and Apple Watch and can also serve as a second screen for Macs.
The high-end models will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, an upgraded design, and a redesigned camera system. The X300 series is expected to be released in October.
