Hisense's new RGB-Mini LED U7S Pro makes its global debut at IFA in Germany.

Hisense's new RGB-Mini LED U7S Pro makes its global debut at IFA in Germany.

On September 5th, the first day of the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (IFA 2025) in Berlin, Germany, Hisense unveiled its new RGB-Mini LED TV, the U7S Pro. Mass production will begin at the end of September, with sizes ranging from 75-inch to 85-inch and 100-inch. The Hisense U7S Pro features a newly upgraded dual-core chip combination, fully inheriting the core advantages of RGB-Mini LED: ultra-high color, ultra-high brightness, ultra-wide viewing angles, and ultra-low energy consumption.

Hisense has now launched two series of RGB-Mini LED TVs, the UX and U7. This makes Hisense the world's first and only brand to mass-produce RGB-Mini LED TVs and the brand with the most comprehensive product line in this category. Industry insiders believe that Hisense's application of the world's leading RGB-Mini LED LCD display technology to the mainstream-priced U7 series, a "global hit," has further advanced the industrialization of RGB-Mini LED from a technologically advanced technology to a universally accessible platform. With more and more TV brands deploying RGB-Mini LED, the global display industry has officially entered the RGB-Mini LED era.

In January of this year, Hisense pioneered the release of the world's largest 116-inch RGB-Mini LED TV UX, surpassing QD-OLED in color gamut, color, and other metrics, becoming the world's leading LCD display technology. Four months after its release, the world's first mass-produced Hisense RGB-Mini LED TV UX has been launched in nearly 20 countries.

At IFA, Hisense's RGB-Mini LED further unlocked hardware performance through core algorithm upgrades to its RGB-Mini LED light-emitting chip and the Xinxin AI image quality chip H7, enabling upgrades to achieve exceptional performance, including up to 100% BT.2020 color gamut, 100% color purity, and low blue light protection. Built with the world's first AI-powered H7 image quality chip for simultaneous light and color control, it supports the industry's highest mass-produced 3×10240 zone control and the industry's highest 108-bit color control accuracy, ensuring "zero error" in brightness and color transitions, with unmatched detail. UX users can also experience the latest features through OTA updates, ensuring a constantly updated experience.

RGB-Mini LED has earned global recognition thanks to two key pillars: more realistic colors and a more stunning large screen. In terms of color performance, the newly upgraded Hisense RGB-Mini LED TV has sparked a "color revolution" in the industry. It boasts an expansive color space, achieving up to 100% BT.2020 color gamut coverage, a 19% improvement over QD-Mini LED and a 9% improvement over QD-OLED. It also achieves near-100% ultra-high color purity. Combined with an ultra-wide viewing angle, Hisense RGB-Mini LED TVs achieve a comprehensive leap in color space, purity, and viewing angle. This is more than just a simple technological upgrade; it represents a new milestone in the display experience, allowing people to experience images that are incredibly close to natural. In addition to stunning colors, Hisense's RGB-Mini LED TVs break the limitations of OLED in size, reaching up to the world's largest at 116 inches, while consuming over 40% less energy than QD-OLED TVs and traditional Mini LEDs. With higher image quality and larger sizes, yet lower energy consumption, RGB-Mini LED is the optimal solution for ultra-large screens.

Leveraging Hisense's upgraded RGB-Mini LED technology, the Hisense U7S Pro achieves outstanding performance, including 100% BT.2020 color gamut, up to 100% color purity, and low blue light for eye protection. It also features the world's first anti-reflective display, the Obsidian Pro screen, Devialet speakers, and Dolby Vision 2, Dolby Laboratories' next-generation high-end HDR format. Officially defined as a breakthrough upgrade that "redefines the visual experience," it adjusts picture parameters in real time based on ambient light signals and content source data, enhancing dark details and highlight depth while minimizing image distortion caused by ambient light interference. Its greatest significance lies in breaking the long-standing "darkroom dependency" of televisions. Previously, cinema-quality picture quality was only achievable in well-controlled environments. Now, a similar effect can be achieved in bright living rooms. Hisense's new RGB-Mini LED product is also the world's first large-screen product to adopt this standard.

As the pioneer of RGB-Mini LED TVs, Hisense's position as the only brand in the world to mass-produce RGB-Mini LEDs stems not only from over 20 years of accumulated expertise in the underlying ULED platform technology, but also from its proprietary "dual-core" technology, which defines the global gold standard for RGB-Mini LED mass production.

The ultimate dual-core upgrade! Hisense's new RGB-Mini LED U7S Pro makes its global debut at IFA in Germany.

For years, achieving simultaneous RGB color control in LCD displays has been a dream of those in the display industry. However, the technical challenges of upgrading RGB-Mini LED backlights from single to color backlights have plagued the industry, hindering mass production of the technology. Within this "dual-core" combination, the Xinxin H7, the world's first AI-powered image quality chip for simultaneous RGB color control, serves as the "brain" of RGB-Mini LEDs. Its pioneering RGB simultaneous light and color control algorithm has been completely upgraded, supporting the industry's highest level of 3 x 10240 zone control in mass production, nearly double the capabilities of the industry's pre-production reference chip. It also achieves the industry's highest 108-bit color control accuracy, breaking the industry's challenge of simultaneous and precise control of light and color for the first time. This improves color accuracy by 68%, resulting in more precise color control, consistent brightness adjustment, and more vibrant colors.

If the Xinxin H7 AI image quality chip is the "brain," then Hisense's self-developed, world-leading three-primary-color self-luminous RGB-Mini LED chip is the "heart" of RGB-Mini LED TVs, providing high-quality "light energy" for display. Without it, a brilliant picture would be impossible. Hisense's RGB-Mini LED chip addresses four major industry challenges of traditional RGB LEDs: low luminous efficiency, short lifespan, significant color cast, and insufficient color purity, pioneering the industrialization of three-primary-color light sources. This newly upgraded RGB-Mini LED chip boasts a 120% increase in brightness, making it more energy-efficient; picture uniformity is improved by 30%, resulting in clearer images; and unlike traditional blue light blocking solutions, this hardware-level chip reduces harmful blue light by 42%, providing better eye protection.

It is this powerful "heart" that works seamlessly with the Xinxin H7's intelligent "brain" that creates the stunning visual experience of Hisense's RGB-Mini LED TV. Hisense's RGB-Mini LED is currently the industry's most reliable and efficient solution, providing a "China solution" for the global display industry upgrade.

From mass production of the Hisense UX, the world's first flagship RGB-Mini LED TV, to the launch of the universally accessible U7S Pro RGB-Mini LED TV, Hisense achieved technological breakthroughs and efficient industry chain integration in just eight months, rewriting traditional market rules and once again leading global RGB-Mini LED technology innovation. At this critical juncture in the century-long evolution of television technology, the global RGB-Mini LED ecosystem has taken shape, and RGB-Mini LED is poised to be the most promising display technology of the next decade.
