As per previous years, Samsung is likely to launch the new Galaxy S26 series early next year. Ahead of the product launch, a netizen posted design details for three of the models on an overseas design media outlet. Let's take a look at their designs.
According to the netizen, the above design language represents the Galaxy S26, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra. Images reveal significant design improvements for Samsung's next-generation S series flagships. The S26 Edge features a large, horizontal camera bump on the back, a design very similar to the expected design of Apple's iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.
In addition, the standard S26 and S26 Ultra also feature a one-piece design for the camera area, similar to the entry-level iPhone 17. The backs of the three prototypes also feature a large circular pattern, which may indicate that the Galaxy S26 series will likely support Qi2 wireless charging and a magnetic charging design.
With more and more manufacturers entering the magnetic charging ecosystem, Samsung's introduction of more magnetic design elements is expected to open up new possibilities for the industry.
