sony's imx927 sensor has a diagonal length of 39.7mm and a resolution of 10,272 x 10,272 pixels. it can capture images at full resolution at 113fps with 8-bit color depth and 73fps with 12-bit color depth.

the new product supports the hdr standard and, equipped with a global shutter, avoids the image distortion unique to rolling shutter solutions.

this sensor is designed for automated mass production applications such as machine vision. enhanced monochrome and color versions are available, with three versions offered: 105mp (56fps) (imx937), 64mp (138fps) (imx298), and 51mp (225fps) (imx929).
