Samsung Galaxy S25 FE release date revealed: slim design + Exynos 2400 chip

NotebookCheck recently revealed the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, which will debut in South Korea on September 19th. This fan-edition flagship model continues the classic design language of the Galaxy S series and is available in four colors: Ice Blue, Navy Blue, Black, and White. Measuring 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm and weighing approximately 190g, it is significantly thinner and lighter than its predecessor.

The S25 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED punch-hole panel with a resolution of 1080×2340, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2600 nits. Its imaging system includes a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP primary, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The front camera is a 12MP selfie camera, perfect for everyday photography.

In terms of performance, the phone will be powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 2400 processor, equipped with 8GB of RAM, and available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. Although the battery capacity has been reduced from 4700mAh in the previous generation to 4500mAh, it supports 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging, so its battery life is still promising.

Notably, the Galaxy S25 FE's earlier release date compared to last year reflects Samsung's emphasis on the mid-range market. With its flexible OLED panel and lightweight design, this new phone is expected to become a popular choice in the value-for-money market in the second half of the year.
