Duke Nukem to be turned into anime — creator of Castlevania and Devil May Cry is working on the adaptation

The flow of game adaptations does not seem to be dying down - Adi Shankar, the producer responsible for the anime adaptations of Castlevania and Devil May Cry, announced the purchase of a new license. It looks like we are watching the screen adaptation of Duke Nukem.
Adi Shankar has informed the public that the rights to the film adaptation of Duke Nukem now belong to him. When a journalist asked him what he understood Duke Nukem to be, Shankar answered as follows:
It's a middle finger to everyone. When Duke Nukem blew up the dance floor, a group of people tried to make a brand out of it, but it was just an indecent gesture, nothing more. The company cannot make Duke, because if the company does so, it will no longer be Duke Nuke. So I will not listen to anyone who gives me advice on how to make this story.
However, the film adaptation will have to wait for a while - now Shankar is working on the second season of Devil May Cry, which will be seriously different in spirit from the first season, because Vergil will appear in it. In addition, the author considers his animated film adaptations not anime: he prefers classic American cartoons, so he focuses mainly on them.
