Exclusive games are a thing of the past: only Nintendo now stubbornly refuses to port its popular games to other platforms. For example, PlayStation 5 owners will soon get the second part of the Hellblade sequel—not the original, but an improved version.
Ninja Theory has released a new trailer for Senua's Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced Edition. In the video, the authors discuss the re-release and its development. According to the team, bringing the Xbox series exclusive to Sony's console wasn't difficult thanks to the Unreal Engine's capabilities—the engine is very flexible in this regard. The studio also benefited from the Selfplay system, allowing the game to "complete itself."
Let us remind you that the premiere of Hellblade II Enhanced Edition will take place on August 12th. Meanwhile, other versions of the fantasy drama will receive a patch that will add enhanced port content to the horror game (developer commentary, hardcore mode, photo mode editing, etc.). The original version of Senua's Saga debuted on PC and Xbox in May 2024.
