Official announcement: Huawei Pocket 2 Premium Edition will go on sale on June 26

Today, Huawei Terminal officially announced that the Huawei Pocket 2 Premium Edition small folding phone will be fully available for sale at 10:08 on June 26. As a strategic derivative version of the Pocket 2 series, the new phone retains the classic design while completing the key performance renewal-equipped with a new Kirin 9020A processor to achieve precise iteration of core configuration.

Compared with the Kirin 9000S chip used in the original Pocket 2, the Kirin 9020A replaced in the Premium Edition achieves a performance leap through architecture optimization. Its CPU is adjusted to a combination of 12.40GHz+32.00GHz+4*1.60GHz, and the GPU specifications are optimized simultaneously. The overall performance is improved by 30%, injecting strong power into the small folding category. It is worth noting that the new phone continues the original 6.94-inch 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate OLED flexible screen, 2200nits peak brightness and two-way Beidou satellite communication function, and the 4520mAh battery and 66W wired + 40W wireless dual fast charging solution are also fully retained.

The imaging system is still a highlight. The Premium Edition inherits the "industry's first full-focus XMAGE quad-camera" module: 50-megapixel optical image stabilization main camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro lens, 8-megapixel 3x optical zoom telephoto lens and hyperspectral camera work together to continue to consolidate the benchmark status of folding imaging. In terms of color matching, four basic colors are provided: elegant black, taro purple, Rococo white and Tahitian gray. Among them, the 12GB+512GB top-end version is exclusively available in the art customized blue dream color.

The starting price of the Premium Edition may drop to 5,499 yuan, which is more competitive than the original version.
