Loongson;s new generation processor will be unveiled next week, 3B6600's same frequency performance is improved by 30%

Loongson Technology recently officially announced that the 2025 Loongson Product Release and User Conference will be held at 8:30 on June 26, when the new generation of Loongson processors will be released. The highly anticipated desktop processor 3B6600, server processor 3C6000 series and GPU chip 9A1000 are expected to debut collectively. These products have been preheated many times before and have aroused industry expectations.
According to official disclosures, the new generation of desktop processor 3B6600 has been structurally optimized while maintaining the original process. Its pre-silicon test shows that the same frequency performance is about 30% higher than the previous generation 3A6000. This breakthrough makes the single-core performance of the processor expected to rank among the world's leading ranks, indicating that domestic CPUs can also compete with foreign advanced process products under mature process conditions.
The server field will usher in a product echelon covering multiple application scenarios. The 3C6000/S with 16 cores and 32 threads can match the performance of Intel's Xeon 4314 processor, the 3D6000 (3C6000/D) with 32 cores and 64 threads in dual silicon wafer packaging is aimed at Xeon 6338, and the flagship 3E6000 (3C6000/Q) with 64 cores and 128 threads in quad silicon wafer packaging will impact the high-end server market. The full range of products will meet different needs from basic computing to high-performance computing.
