It turned out that the release of Dune: Awakening was postponed for a reason. After its release, the ambitious MMORPG based on the universe that is once again gaining popularity has shown excellent reviews from gamers and a wonderful online presence.

After the full release (we wrote about preliminary access earlier), Dune: Awakening feels simply great. The game has gained a one-time online of 189,333 gamers at the time of writing the news, as well as almost 24 thousand user ratings, based on which a “very positive” rating of 86% was formed.

It is thought out so that a person can play and relax, and not slave away like at a second job. All sorts of little things, such as machines, craft things if there are resources in the chests, you do not need to run around the house to collect them, this is very pleasing. Interesting leveling, you can experiment with builds.

A very atmospheric survival game with an extremely pleasant progression. Friendly if you want to play solo. I would even say that at first it is better to play alone to watch cutscenes normally, chat with characters, and soak up the atmosphere.

I can't stand survival games. But I love "Dune" after reading the books. Therefore, perhaps I am not very objective. BUT! In my opinion, Funcom managed to do what Amazon tried with New World, but screwed up. If you just want to chill solo, build, dig in the sand - please. If you want to complete quests, the plot, lore - please. If you want hardcore PvP/politics/mass skirmishes - also please! Somehow they managed to please almost everyone.

I robbed the player's base, which for some reason was unprotected, took out all the most valuable things and a lot of currency. While crossing the desert, a worm ate me, taking all the stolen property. I wish it were like that in real life with everyone! 10 out of 10!

A top game. In my opinion, the best in the Dune universe. If you like it, I highly recommend it.

However, not everyone was delighted: for every hundred people there are 14 dissatisfied. Some don't like the action, others - the mechanics are too simplified and lenient, not allowing you to penetrate the essence of survival in the desert, others - the monotony of the gameplay and primitive tasks. As they say, to each his own.
