Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 renderings exposed: 215g body + 8.2-inch inner screen

Recently, foreign media Android Headline disclosed the renderings of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, confirming the dual color schemes of "Blue Shadow" and "Obsidian". The new phone's external screen has been upgraded to 6.5 inches (previous generation 6.3 inches), and the internal screen is 8.2 inches after unfolding, surpassing competitors such as OPPO Find N5 (8.12 inches) and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold (8 inches), topping the list of folding screen internal screen size.

It is worth noting that the previously exposed 3.9 mm unfolded thickness was questioned by the media, who believed that 4.5 mm was more in line with engineering reality. At the same time, the weight of the new phone may be greatly reduced to 215 grams, 24 grams lighter than Z Fold6, but the data has yet to be officially verified. If this weight reduction is true, it will significantly improve the grip experience of large-screen folding devices.

As the New York launch on July 9 approaches, Samsung is consolidating its position as a folding flagship through the dual breakthroughs of lightweight and large screen. The Z Flip7, which will be unveiled at the same time, is said to be equipped with an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, with a main core frequency of 4.47GHz.
