oppo has officially confirmed that it will launch the oppo pad 5 tablet at its october event. the tablet will be equipped with the new coloros 16 operating system, which, according to oppo, can ensure smooth operation for up to five years and support up to five windows running simultaneously.

the company claims that coloros 16 adopts a redesigned architecture and includes three key technologies: aurora engine, tide engine, and starlight compiler. these technologies optimize the performance of the underlying system, making the interface faster and more responsive.

software innovations include seamless animations during scaling, dragging, and switching, as well as supporting the same effects in third-party applications. oppo has released a video demonstrating the performance of the new firmware.
