google's iconic image browsing and editing tool has been updated again. now, you don't need to fiddle with cursors and sliders to process photos with photoshop: just issue commands to your smartphone.
this new feature utilizes the gemini neural network and can be activated by clicking the "edit for me" button on the screen. according to the developers, the ai can understand simple conversational commands such as "make the photo more beautiful" and complex commands such as "remove glare, brighten the photo, add clouds".
the final version will be displayed on the smartphone screen and come with multiple options, including new suggestions for more precise editing. this feature was previously only available on pixel 10 smartphones, but has now been extended to all compatible android devices in the united states. it's not clear whether the feature will be launched in other countries.
