
On August 28, according to media reports, Musk posted on X: "Starship V3 should be built and tested (and possibly flown) by the end of this year. V4 is expected to launch in 2027, likely nearing 150 meters in altitude and weighing approximately 7,500 tons."
Musk also stated: "Starship capture will likely occur on flights 13-15, depending on the performance of V3."
Yesterday, Starship launched from Texas on its 10th test flight. An hour later, Starship landed in the Indian Ocean as planned, and the rocket booster also landed in the Gulf of Mexico as planned, marking the successful conclusion of the test flight. Key objectives of the mission reportedly included deploying simulated satellites and conducting engine re-ignition tests in space.
