Ahead of a fan event called the realme 828 Fan Festival, the company announced a new smartphone equipped with an innovative active cooling system. According to a realme representative, the device uses a mini air conditioner instead of a conventional fan.

The smartphone, tentatively named the realme Chill Fan Phone, is being positioned as the first smartphone on the market to feature this design. According to official information, this technology can reduce the phone's operating temperature by 6°C. The company showcased a design featuring a ventilation grille on the left edge, claiming the cooler airflow is capable of blowing out candles and making a rubber duck float on water.

Details regarding the cooling system's design have not yet been disclosed. Typically, home air conditioners cool air by transferring refrigerant, which affects the device's size. The realme 828 Fan Festival event will begin on August 27, 2025, and the features of this unusual smartphone should be known by then.
