Dyson has launched a new battery-powered V8 Cyclone (DS20) handheld vacuum cleaner. This is an updated version of the existing model – its main features are a combination of high power and extended autonomy.
The vacuum cleaner, with a claimed 150 watts of suction power, weighs 1.65 kg and is 1,160 mm long. The motor can rev up to 110,000 rpm, and the device can operate for up to 60 minutes on a single charge. Charging takes about four hours, but thanks to its hot-swappable battery, you can start cleaning immediately.
To increase efficiency, there are interchangeable nozzles: a soft roller for hard floors, a rotating roller for mattresses, and a crevice nozzle for removing dust from hard-to-reach areas. The vacuum cleaner supports three operating modes, tailored to different types of dirt and the surface being cleaned.
According to the brand, Dyson's sealed double-layer cyclone system captures up to 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, preventing secondary contamination. The dust collector has a capacity of 0.54 liters. The company also claims that the V8 Cyclone has passed multiple impact tests and, in durability testing, operated non-stop for 425 hours.
The Dyson V8 Cyclone (DS20) is available in China for $418. There is currently no information on the novelty's availability in other countries.
