Fi, an American brand specializing in animal gadgets, has launched a compact dog and cat tracker called the Mini. It attaches to any collar and not only tracks your pet's movements but also acts as a fitness tracker.
The Fi Mini measures 42 x 30 x 12.5 mm and weighs 16 grams. The device's housing is protected according to IP68 standards and has a battery life of up to three weeks on a single charge.
In addition to tracking, the tracker also records your animal's sleep, activity, and steps. All of this data can be viewed in the mobile app. The device also features a pet routing feature and the ability to quickly send all 30 days of statistics to a veterinarian.
When attached to a dog's collar, the device tracks quiet and noisy days by barking volume, allowing users to eliminate stressors for their pet. The tracker also lets you know if your dog licks or scratches itself excessively.
The tracker only works if you connect with a subscription: $20 for initial activation plus $79 for six months, $129 for one year, or $239 for two years.
