According to the latest reports, Tecno's ultra-thin concept phone, unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February, is about to enter mass production and is scheduled to launch in India soon. Reports indicate that the phone, possibly named "Spark Slim," will be 5.95mm thick, just 0.2mm thicker than the concept model. It appears to be aimed squarely at the high-end market, with an expected price tag of up to 80,000 Indian rupees.
"Thin and light" has become the new trend in smartphones. Samsung launched the new ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge just a few months ago, and Apple is reportedly planning to release the new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air in September. These phones feature ultra-thin designs for a more comfortable grip.
In terms of core specifications, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch 144Hz high-refresh rate AMOLED screen, a 50-megapixel rear camera, and a large 5200mAh battery. More details about the new phone are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
