Recently, Chinese home appliance brand Dreame Technology held its "2025 Dreame New Product Launch" at a hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea, launching its flagship robot vacuum for the first time in South Korea and announcing its plan to capture a 30% share of the South Korean robot vacuum market by 2026. According to CNMO, in addition to its already-launched robot vacuums, food waste processors, air purifiers, and hair dryers, the company will also expand its product line of large appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
Matrix10 Ultra: South Korea's first robot vacuum that automatically switches between three mop types based on cleaning areas, such as the living room, bathroom, and kitchen, and comes with corresponding cleaning fluids. Its upgraded "ProLift" obstacle-crossing technology allows it to easily overcome obstacles up to 8 cm.
Aqua10 Ultra Roller: Featuring a roller mop design, the mop washes and mops in real time through 12 nozzles. It features the first NVIDIA chip to significantly enhance its AI context recognition capabilities.
According to South Korean media reports, Dreame's share of the South Korean home appliance market has more than tripled in a year, rising from 4.1% last year to 12.8% today. Company executives stated, "Our goal is to achieve a 15% market share by the end of this year and a 30% market share next year. We will precisely meet the needs of Korean consumers with innovative technology and a diverse product line." Dreame's robot vacuums currently hold the top market share in 16 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, and Denmark.
Regarding the information security concerns of Korean consumers, Maggie Dai, Asia Pacific Director, emphasized, "We have received the highest Diamond safety certification from UL Solutions, a global certification agency, to ensure user data and privacy protection."
In addition to cleaning products, Dreame currently sells air purifiers and food waste disposers through its Korean partner, Kolon Global. In the future, Dreame plans to expand from small appliances to large appliances and IoT, building a comprehensive appliance portfolio.
Maggie Dai stated, "Dreami is committed to redefining industry standards with practical, life-changing technologies, rather than engaging in meaningless competition in technical specifications. We will continue to leverage differentiated technology and localization strategies to launch products that meet consumer performance needs and solidify our market position through user satisfaction."
