As of the end of June 2025, the Samsung S25 Ultra achieved overwhelming sales in the global market, outselling not only its major competitors but also all other "Ultra" flagship phones combined.
Data shows that during the same period, sales of the three major Chinese brands' Ultra models were: the Xiaomi 15 Ultra sold over 586,000 units, the vivo X200 Ultra over 219,900 units, and the OPPO Find X8 Ultra over 210,000 units. Combined sales of these three models reached approximately 1.016 million units. Samsung's S25 Ultra, on the other hand, sold a staggering 8.39 million units during this period, far exceeding its competitors combined.
Analysts believe this gap is primarily due to Samsung's broader global channel presence and brand influence. While Xiaomi, vivo, and OPPO have certain innovative advantages in certain technologies, such as imaging systems and battery technology, Samsung has optimized its overall product strategy, maintaining the S series' signature refined design language. The use of titanium frames and a thinner body structure avoid overly prominent camera modules, maintaining a high aesthetic appeal among high-end users.
Furthermore, the S25 Ultra features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, a 200MP main camera with the ProVisual image engine, a 5000mAh battery, and the Galaxy AI suite of intelligent features. This sophisticated combination of hardware and software is a key factor in its market success. Samsung's long-established retail network and operator partnerships have provided strong support for the promotion of its flagship model, particularly in key markets such as Europe, the US, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
