Redmi has officially announced the battery life specifications of its new generation Redmi Note 15 Pro+. The new phone features a 7000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, rated for up to 1600 cycles, offering the longest battery life yet in the Note series. It also supports 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse fast charging. The new phone will officially launch this Thursday (August 21st) at 7 PM.
Official information indicates that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features an upgraded 1.5K resolution Super Sunlight display, using the same luminescent material as its flagship phone. It boasts a peak brightness of 3200 nits and a global brightness of 1800 nits. It also passes IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, earning the industry's first Süddeutsche Zeitung five-star long-term waterproof quality certification.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a flagship Xiaomi Dragon Crystal glass on the front and a fully curved screen. The back has a bend-resistant, ultra-tough fiberglass back panel and a fully curved body. The camera module is a rounded rectangular shape, housing three cameras and a flash.
A blogger previously revealed that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be powered by Qualcomm's fourth-generation Snapdragon 7s mobile platform. Regarding imaging, the phone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Furthermore, it is expected to support Beidou short message satellite communications, making it the first Redmi model to do so.
