A digital blogger has leaked the specs of a phone powered by the second-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition. The device will support 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, making it compatible with native 165FPS gaming. Netizens speculate that it is the OnePlus 15.
The blogger also mentioned that the OnePlus 15 will feature a new performance engine, likely the all-new Fengchi gaming core. Reportedly, as the industry's first chip-level gaming technology, the Fengchi gaming core restructures Qualcomm's underlying chip logic to achieve industry-leading performance in single-frame power consumption control, enabling a native 120FPS experience in many mainstream games. Today, the mobile game "Valorant" officially launched. OnePlus China President Li Jie posted a message congratulating Valorant, OnePlus's strategic partner in China. The OnePlus 15 is likely to support the game's native 165FPS experience.
The blogger also revealed that the OnePlus 15 will use a custom BOE display, a 6.78-inch 2.5D straight screen. The phone will feature a conventional wide-angle design with LIPO four-narrow edges, optimized color consistency and brightness, and customizable buttons on the side.
In addition, other digital bloggers have also leaked some of the OnePlus 15's specifications. The OnePlus 15 boasts ample passive cooling, a metal midframe, and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor support. Notably, the OnePlus 15 may also feature an active cooling fan similar to the OPPO K13 Turbo.
According to previous leaks, the OnePlus 15 is expected to be equipped with a 7000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, as well as bypass charging.
