OriginOS officially announced the highlights of its August system upgrade. It's reported that the new version supports AirPods connectivity, and the railway 12306 app has officially launched on Atom Island.
A major highlight of this upgrade is OriginOS's full integration with the 12306 platform. Through features like Atomic Notifications, Atomic Widgets, and Mini V Suggestions, ticket information is dynamically integrated into the system-wide interface. Users can now view real-time travel details, such as train number, seat number, and departure time, directly on the desktop or in the notification bar, without having to frequently open third-party apps.
To enhance system performance, vivo has introduced a new "background stack" style. When users open the multitasking interface, recent apps are displayed as stacked cards, providing a clearer visual hierarchy and more intuitive operation. This design significantly improves app switching efficiency, allowing users to quickly locate the desired app with a swipe, reducing accidental taps and waiting time.
In terms of the hardware ecosystem, the new version supports AirPods connectivity, including ringer search, battery level, and connection status. Atomic Island intuitively displays headphone information and can also locate AirPods using a vivo phone. The Super Clipboard feature allows users to copy and paste content from their phone to their Mac with one click. Furthermore, verification codes from phone calls and text messages can now be transferred to their computer, allowing users to easily answer and view them.
In addition, the system offers a deeper user experience in more details: the Blue Heart V smart body adds AI PPT, buyer assistance, and essay writing assistant capabilities, enabling one-click generation of high-quality content; Atom Island expands its drag-and-drop functionality to include more overseas social and productivity apps like WhatsApp and Telegram, making file transfers more efficient; and the Atom Walkman supports mainstream audiobook and novel apps like QQ Reading and Tomato Novels, allowing for convenient operation even when the screen is locked or off.
Official information indicates that this system upgrade will begin rolling out in batches starting today, with full coverage expected by mid-September, covering numerous models, including the vivo X200 series, X Fold5 series, and iQOO 13 series.
