On August 14th, a blogger leaked detailed specs for the Honor Magic V Flip 2 on social media. He revealed that the new phone is expected to feature a 200-megapixel rear camera and be powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform.

According to the blogger's leak, the Honor Magic V Flip 2 will feature a 6.82-inch LTPO UTG OLED internal display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2868 x 1232 pixels, and 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It is also expected to feature a 4-inch LTPO OLED external display with a 1200 x 1092 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The phone is expected to be 167.1mm long, 75.6mm wide, and 6.9mm thick when unfolded. When folded, it will be 15.5mm thick and weigh 204g.
In terms of imaging, the Honor Magic V Flip 2 is expected to feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera, a 200-megapixel main camera (with an F1.9 aperture), and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (with a 120° field of view and an F2.0 aperture) on the back. Regarding performance, the Honor Magic V Flip 2 is expected to be powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, equipped with Honor's in-house developed RF enhancement chip C1 and Honor's in-house developed energy efficiency enhancement chip E2. As for battery life, the device will have a built-in 5500mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Furthermore, the new phone may feature a side fingerprint unlocking feature.
It is worth noting that the Honor Magic V Flip 2 will be released on August 21st, with a high-end model available.
