Google's search engine has a new feature that helps users filter results more effectively. It will narrow the list of sources—the service will focus on the account owner's preferences rather than "scraping" the entire internet.
A feature called "Preferred Sources" allows you to select a website or blog that will serve as the primary source for your search query, rather than an unlimited number of internet sites. You can turn on the filter using an on-screen button in the search engine interface, which then lets you select and save your desired sources.
Filtered results will appear in a separate category called "From Your Sources." This innovation is currently available in English only to users in the United States and India, but may be deployed in other countries in the future.
