The presentation date of the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip has become known — the platform will premiere a day earlier than its competitor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Elite.
According to insider Digital Chat Station, Dimensity 9500 will be presented on September 22. The first devices based on the new SoC are expected to be vivo X300 Pro and OPPO Find X9 Pro.
The new chip will be created using TSMC's 3-nm process technology and will receive eight cores with the latest ARM Cortex-X9 architecture: one main Travis X930 core with a clock frequency of 3.23 GHz, three Alto with a frequency of 3.03 GHz, and four Gelas with a frequency of 2.23 GHz. It will also have a Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU with support for ray tracing technology and an NPU with a performance of 100 TOPS.
