Blizzard Reveals Details of Diablo IV's Sins of the Horadrim Patch

Blizzard continues to work on content support for Diablo IV, which was released more than two years ago. The ninth season, Sins of the Horadrim, will start in the game in a few days.

The story of the new expansion will focus on the return of Astaroth, one of the bosses of the original game. Gamers will try to prevent this catastrophe together with a druid named Briona.

As for the gameplay mechanics, users will have the opportunity to strengthen the character with new combinations of skills and charms - they will have to be assembled from three components that determine the basic effect, the type of elemental damage and an additional effect. Horadric shrines will also appear in the game - small dungeons inside nightmarish dungeons with valuable rewards.

The start of the ninth season is scheduled for July 1, it will be free for all owners of the original game.
