Nintendo bans offensive usernames on Switch 2

Recently, rumors began to circulate on the network that Nintendo will ban Nintendo Switch 2 consoles that use MIG Flash cartridges. It turns out that the company reserves the right to punish its customers not only for piracy, but also for their nicknames.

A few days ago, Reddit user Funae24 shared a strange story: his Switch 2 was allegedly permanently "bricked" for having an account called Twink Link (the account was created by the victim's sister). The gamer contacted the support service, but they did not help him: even the company itself could not lift the ban. Therefore, he had to return the device to the store.

It is worth noting that there is no clear evidence for this story: the gamer who allegedly got a hot hand because of the nickname only showed a photo with a ban notice, and that's it, and the company did not comment on the situation. However, the Internet community is still concerned about the post: in the guidelines of the American Nintendo community there is indeed a line that prohibits unacceptable and indecent nicknames. It's just that no one doubts that the publisher is ready to punish people so severely for such a trivial prank.
