Geely's all-electric SUV lands in Greece, expanding its European presence to 15 countries

It is reported that the Chinese auto brand Geely has officially entered the Greek market and released its first pure electric SUV Geely International EX51 in Athens on June 24. The model will fully cover the import and sales channels of the Greek market through in-depth cooperation with GEO Mobility Hellas, a subsidiary of Union Group. It is worth noting that Greece is becoming a key springboard for Chinese automakers to deploy in Europe. After SERES launched the electric SUV SERES 5 last year, NIO also announced that it will enter the market this year.

This strategic layout has expanded Geely's business territory in Europe to more than 15 countries. As the southeastern gateway of the European Union, Greece's new energy vehicle penetration rate is growing rapidly, and the government has clearly issued policies to support the electrification of the fleet. Geely chose to enter the market at this time, obviously aiming at the window period of the region's electrification transformation.
